The Net is Working – Volunteering and Human Rights Education Conference
20.-22.04.2020 | Greifswald, Germany
We will contact all volunteers we are hosting here in Greifswald about the situation and their options in the current situation. We will inform you as soon as possible about the volunteers’ decisions. Volunteers could stay here in Greifswald, in Germany, but of course most projects are not working as usual. In this case individual support, food allowance etc. will be paid. They also might end their volunteering projects and go home. In every case we will inform you about the individual decision.
We wish you all the best and hope that the virus and all related restrictions and consequences will not affect you too badly.
All the best wishes from Greifswald
Our international volunteer and human rights project „S.P.I.D.E.R. – Weaving the European Web“ has entered the third year of the project. In April 2020, we would like to invite you to sum up and evaluate the project with us, create new projects, network, exchange ideas, learn and celebrate together.
Thus, we cordially invite you to come to Greifswald:
• for the Partner Workshop on April 18-19, 2020 (networking, future coopearation planning, study visits to successful organisations working with volunteers) and right afterwards
• for the The Net is Working – Volunteer and Human Rights Education Conference, April 20-22, 2020 (workshops and events on human rights and human rights education, sharing best practices of local and international volunteering, wider networking, meeting local community).
The common language of the 5 days will be English, but we also want to provide bilingual workshops to illustrate the variety of spoken languages and to make wider participation possible.
