European Voluntary Service with House of Resources Greifswald
The House of Resources Greifswald is the only House of Resources in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, in North-East Germany. It is part of a federal network of institutions supporting civic society initiatives in the migrant communities. The aim of the project is to empower, promote and strengthen migrant engagement and voluntary participation by creating concrete offers for people with migration experience, migrant groups and associations.
We are looking for a person who would like to support the work for one year and also develop their own creative projects.
You are
- interested in supporting and empowering people to get involved socially
- motivated and open to meet and network with groups and people
- interested in the topic of migration and integration
- communicative and have the desire to work with different initiatives
- proactive and want to take the initiative
then you are a perfect candidate for a European Voluntary Service with House of Resources Greifswald!
Your tasks:
- Co-supervision and support of the network café
- Support of migrants in their projects
- Participation and support in counselling
- Support in the organization of qualification offers and events
- Supporting public relations by translating and creating advertising material for events and offers
- Networking with different groups in Greifswald and MV
- Implementation of your project ideas - the team is looking forward to supporting you.
