He was called the Robin Hood of the banks: Enric Duran fooled the financial world in 2008 by obtaining loans worth half a million euros, never repaying them and using them to support social projects. Duran went into hiding and lives in exile to this day; the public prosecutor's office and 16 banks are demanding his imprisonment. Director Anna Giralt Gris succeeds in tracking down the activist and condensing his fascinating story into an exciting documentary.

The film reconstructs the robbery with the help of animations and discovers the person behind it. The director succeeds in getting close to her protagonist, to make his activism tangible and to narrate the historical significance of the subject on film. ROBIN BANK is a modern version of the story of Robin Hood: someone who fights for what they think is fair and right, who challenges laws and stretches legal boundaries in order to bring change.
